Mr. Mike Noori, Custom Engineering Solution’s CEO has been involved in the Utility Industry for more than 20 years and served as senior planning Engineer as well as Project Manager for Oglethorpe Power Company and Georgia Transmission Corporation. His knowledge, experience, and leadership in industry has been well known and well received by many utility companies in the Southeast region of the US. Mike Noori is a Professional Engineer (PE) and he also holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) . Mike Noori is a graduate of Georgia Tech University in Electrical Engineering Degree. Mike Noori is serving as a member of IEEE and Many of his Project Management Experiences have included the following:

  • Manage the construction of substations, Transmission & Distribution from inception to final completion.
  • Provide budget and schedule estimate to the customer at the inception of the project.
  • Manage Cost, site selection, Engineering, Construction, and Schedule of substations 500 kV and below through internal personnel and contract management.
  • Manage team of twenty+ people by providing them with project work directions.
  • Manage the project interface/ relation with customers.
  • Managing multi-project environment.
  • Managed multiple projects at different life cycle phases.
  • Manage invoice actual vs. budget & forecast.
  • Project identification, scope, and lead time to support system expansion
  • Negotiate with other utilities for capital expenditure in their facilities.
  • Understand area Bulk System studies and issues.
  • Perform multi task functions as Planning leader and Southeast area planning.
  • Coordinate and provide supervision to Transmission Services Engineers, Planning Clerk, and Planning Engineer. Take the lead in training of new employees.
  • Support Management functions including job description, justification and evaluation.
  • Negotiated several key policy issues with Member and Municipal Utilities.
  • Technical liaison to clients regarding the transmission and distribution systems.
  • Member & Municipal liaison for clients regarding location, design and implementation of Member System capital projects.
  • Work Plan development and implement the transmission and distribution system improvements.
  • Manage implementation of SPCC regulation.
