Transmission Lines:

CEngS will utilize PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE (Wood, Concrete, & Steel), which are all an industry standards to design your transmission needs. Our Engineers have more than 20 years of design & field experience. Our Engineers can provide Pole designs for your particular area. By using PLS-CADD, you are assured that the latest NESC & RUS rules and regulations are followed at minimum. Our experienced engineers and operators have extensive knowledge of the most complicated designs whether your project is located in the city limits topography, in the mountains, or in the country. Custom Engineering Solutions’ engineers and operators have been trained and licensed directly by Power Line Systems (PLS) and currently holds multi-license agreements with PLS.

Distribution Lines:

CEngS can design your single and multi circuit distribution by either the staking methods or more precise methods by using PLS-CADD & PLS-POLE. For those utilities sensitive to high winds and icing, PLS-CAD will allow the design to take out any guess work in order not to under or over build the line. CEngS has created hundreds of framings in PLS-POLE for a more precise design. We can build your line with the same criteria's as any transmission designs.

Civil Designs:

This includes structural, foundation, erosion control, oil containment as well as grading design and hydrology studies. We will utilize our knowledgeable staff to maximize your benefit and minimize your cost. We can also will evaluate any local resources in order to secure the most efficient resources for your project.

Environmental Survey:

Custom Engineering Solutions can provide our clients with existing area and quad maps to define study area as well as identifying project constraints. During several field visits with our clients, Custom Engineering Solutions will identify area opportunities and limitation. We will utilize biological, historical and archeological contractors as necessary. CEngS documents all the issues that affect the project and its recommended solution. Land activities will only begin with our client's full support and understanding.

Construction Management:

Custom Engineering Solutions will use internal staff for any and all inspection resources to conduct construction audits to assure construction quality on substations, transmission and distribution projects. This optimizes the client resources and brings accountability to the contractors.
